ID Security Now Standard

All forward-steer Savage, Bermuda, and Quicksilver boats now come with a bonus state-of-the-art security branding system

The boats’ manufacturer, Brunswick Asia Pacific Boat Group, has confirmed an agreement with DataDot Technology (Australia) in which all forward-steer fibreglass and aluminium models will now feature the ‘Marine DNA’ device.

These boats will be supplied with a DataDot DNA Marine Pressure Pak kit, which contains thousands of tiny dots, all laser etched with a unique code. Almost invisible to the naked eye, they are easily detectable under UV light and viewable under powerful magnification.

The code is registered to the boat’s HIN, the trailer’s VIN, the engine serial numbers, and the owner’s driver’s licence so that your boat can be easily identified should the unthinkable occur.

Warning decals are supplied to deter thieves.

Law enforcement agencies worldwide are able to verify the true ownership of a stolen boat, trailer, or engine that bears the DataDots.
