HydroHoist lands
HydroHoist Boat Lifts of Oklahoma, USA, is expanding into the Australian market, opening its new manufacturing and distribution base in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.HydroHoist Boat Lifts has been manufacturing and distributing boat lifts for more than 40 years, building the world's first floating boat lift in 1964.
With more than 3000 units sold each year, it offers dry storage devices for all types of boats in almost any type of mooring situation.
HydroHoist manufactures floating boat lifts for crafts up to 15,000kg and a range of drive on/drive off storage platforms for craft up to 2200kg.
The company's Brisbane facility will manufacture and distribute HydroHoist's newest addition to its product range 'The Blue Series', which was designed and developed for the Australian market.
According to HydroHoist, The Blue Series needs only 0.7m more width than the beam of the boat it is lifting.
Its low profile design means that the height of the lift above the waterline when lifted is minimal and its colour scheme is designed to blend in with the environment.
The Blue Series is available in a range of sizes.
Its patented modular floating walkways provide access to the boat on both sides when the lift is in both the lowered and raised position.
"Our new facility in Australia will help us better serve our existing dealers based in the region with better service and products," HydroHoist vice president of international operations Vince Williams said.
"It will also allow us to expand our dealer network to all corners of the country."
The Blue Series will be on display at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.
