Hull happy

Trilux 33 antifouling from International is now available in Australia. According to International, Trilux 33 is the latest globally proven, high performance antifouling for aluminium hulls

It has been specifically formulated with controlled release Biolux technology to give the best results, even in warm water areas where the fouling is notoriously challenging.

Trilux 33 can also be applied to fibreglass, wood and underwater metals and because of its slow polishing system it is suitable for fast, active craft as polish-through at high speeds is avoided.

International says Biolux acts at the surface of the paint film to inhibit the ability of algae to conduct photosynthesis. Algae can not therefore grow on the surface of the paint, which in turn allows the antifouling to perform without interference.

Because of its unique formulation, Trilux 33 colours are brighter than most antifoulings. It is available in black and a range of vibrant colours including white, red and blue. It has long lasting colour stability and is available in a 3.8lt can.
