Horizon’s Sanctuary Cove star stuck out at sea

The first Horizon FD87 Skyline to arrive in Australia will miss its official show debut by days

One of the highly anticipated stars of this week’s 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will miss the event because it is still out at sea.

Horizon Yacht Australia announced yesterday that the Horizon FD87 Skyline was still “cruising the seas” off Papua New Guinea, and wouldn’t make it to Sanctuary Cove in time for the show.

The Long awaited Horizon will arrive on Australian shores this Sunday night just in time to miss her debut at SCIBS,” Horizon Australia said in a statement.

“But don’t worry; Horizon Yacht Australia have an upcoming launch party coming soon to celebrate her arrival.”

The boat is a one-off special edition bearing an interior fit-out heavily influenced by the FD87’s Dutch designer, Cor D. Rover.

Horizon’s display will still have the brand’s flagship Horizon RP100 superyacht on display.
