Horizon Winter Raft Up
A first for chummy WA Horizon ownersOn July 6, 2013, the first annual Horizon Winter Raft up was held in Perth, WA.
There were five Horizon motoryachts on display on the Swan River, including two Horizon E88’s, two Horizon E73s and a Horizon E67 Skylounge.
The five vessels came together for a fun and social Horizon gathering that attracted more then 100 friends and family members for a relaxing two days together.
As happens in raft ups, nautical hopscotch was the game of choice as captains and crews jumped ship to explore the different Horizon models and designs -- all Horizon vessels are individual built to the customers desires -- enjoying food, drinks, laughs and story telling along the way.
The gaggle of Horizon owners were treated to demonstrations in a Sea Legs amphibious RIB and BRIG tenders supplied by Sirocco Marine West.
This Horizon event is one of many to come this year, as importers Horizon Motor Yachts Australia launches the Horizon Club that includes raft up days, and rendezvous for owners throughout the year. The next one is scheduled for early September -- a trip from the Gold Coast to the Whitsundays.
