Horizon Shores newest resident

After a few years sabbatical, Brett Flanagan has returned to Horizon Shores Marina (Qld) flying the new Silver Water Boat Sales banner, which will handle new and used boat sales.

Flanagan has partnered with Marc Hall and Stewart Smith from Hope Island Boat Brokers. The trio have between them more than 90 years of experience in the marine industry.

Silver Water Boat Sales will professionally handle the sales of all types of boats from five to 40 metres. But while Flanagan has been actively selling powerboats of all types, he has imported the Integrity range of cruises for many years.

Flanagan spent the last couple of years developing the Integrity 350, which he describes as a perfect balance of style and functionality. It is in fact a beamy (13ft6in) and stable trawler-style cruiser, with a two-cabin layout, large saloon and cockpit, as well as extended flybridge - a neat floating weekender.

The single diesel shaft-drive with full running-gear protection offers economy and low maintenance, while bow and sternthrusters are available for ease of handling in tight spots and to make the boat simple to moor.

The engineering and most of the equipment is specified to suit the Australian market, with the stove, fridge and microwave supplied and fitted here for easy warranty. Four Integrity boats have already been sold this year and there are four more under construction.

Meanwhile, partner Marc Hall is a competitive yachtie and been involved in yacht and cruiser sales since 1975, while Stewart Smith has spent more than 30 years in boats and has been a boat builder, as well as active in the gamefishing market for the last 15 years.
