With stable cruising and voluminous interior space at her core, Horizon Yachts says its new PC52 power catamaran has gained momentum quickly in the global yacht market.
Horizon Yachts sea trialled the new PC52 that's now in Australia — the first PC52 to be delivered to the area — and new Horizon Motor Yachts Australia (HMYA) Directors Matt Yapp and Gary Wahlstedt travelled to Taiwan to experience the PC52 for themselves.
Matt and Gary are Horizon owners, whose passion for their yachts led them to HMYA as Directors – Matt owns the Horizon E88 motoryacht White Caviar and Gary is the owner of the Horizon E73 motoryacht Swell Time – and it is their experiences as owners that have given them extreme confidence in Horizon’s yacht quality and customer service.
During the sea trial, Matt and Gary put the PC52 through the paces in Kaohsiung Harbor and reported their satisfaction with her handling and performance.
The Horizon PC52 offers panoramic views on the main deck through the large sweeping windows, and the natural light flowing in enhances the open saloon and galley layout. Below decks, a master, VIP and twin guest staterooms accommodate six comfortably.
On the open bridge, EZ2CY glass has been installed to allow easy cruising in various weather elements, and the glass also provides a more intimate space for guests to relax on the bridge.
The Horizon PC52 power catamaran is on debut in Australia at the 2015 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show from May 21-24.
HMYA expects her to make waves in the Australian market, just like her bigger sister the PC60.
