Horizon launches new Expedition Yacht

EP Series 115 footer begins commissioning tests

Horizon has celebrated an exciting moment as the company launched the new Horizon EP series 115-foot expedition yacht Tango 5, which holds status as the largest luxury yacht Horizon as sold in the Singapore yacht market. Tango 5 is built with the ocean adventurer in mind, featuring a steel hull, bulbous bow, four stateroom layout and cockpit for fishing and diving.

The expedition yacht was launched by Horizon's Dream 1 floating barge, and we understand that the process went extremely smoothly. Once Tango 5 was launched and tied to the dock, the Horizon staff took a moment to celebrate the success of bringing another owner's dream yacht to life.

For the next two months, Horizon will conduct a series of commissioning tests, incline tests, BV class surveys and many others to ensure Tango 5 will be delivered to her new owner in perfect condition. This new Horizon 115-foot, long-range expedition yacht is scheduled for delivery in March 2013 and make her world debut at the Boat Asia Show in April 2013.
