Horizon has added the new PC52 luxury power catamaran to its PC series as a standard model. The new PC52 joins the PC60 released in Australia earlier this year.
Horizon tells us that the PC52 has been designed and engineered to meet its high standards for yacht quality. The functional three-stateroom layout provides extremely comfortable live-aboard accommodation, we're told, as well as all the amenities needed for extended cruising.
The layout provides for a double stateroom and twin bunk room on the port side as well as a shared bathroom. On the starboard side is the expansive owner's suite with a huge ensuite, utility room and roomy stateroom.
On the main deck, there is plenty of room for dining, lounging and entertaining. The fully-equipped galley leads aft to the cockpit with more area for entertaining and relaxing.
Up on the flybridge, guests can recline on the lounges while hosts mix cocktails and prepare snacks from the 'kitchenette'. The skipper has a central helm position with views across the broad foredeck.
Equipped with twin Cummins QSB6.7 550hp engines, the PC52 offers an efficient, smooth and stable ride, providing owners peace of mind when out on the open sea, explains the Taiwanese boat builder.
Horizon says the first PC52 power catamaran is currently under construction for a U.S. owner and is scheduled to launch in early 2014. Two additional PC52 orders have been placed with Horizon for delivery before end of 2014.
