The Horizon FD77 Skyline will make its debut at the 2019 Miami Boat Show, adding yet another member to the luxury yacht brand’s Fast Displacement (FD) series.
The Horizon FD77 Skyline is the smallest of the FD series, and is designed to appeal to owner-operators. Hull number three is already reserved for the Australian market, and is likely to arrive here in time for the 2019 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
The base price of the pocket-size superyacht is from $US5.87m (about $A8.15m).
Featuring a design from Dutch studio Cor D Rover, the FD series features a high-performance piercing bow, large windows and a distinctive 23-foot beam. It will be made available in either an open flybridge or enclosed bridge configuration.
“The FD77 maximises its impressive interior volume with unique sections of floor-to-ceiling windows on the main deck from the salon forward into the master stateroom,” Horizon said.
“A sliding glass door to starboard in the main salon accesses the exterior walkway leading to the forward deck, further enhancing the openness of this pocket superyacht.
“On the lower deck, three additional staterooms, including two VIPs, echo the feeling of spaciousness found throughout.
“Aft, a large beach club invites relaxation at sea level and located just forward of the beach club is a full head and additional cabin or crew space,” the company stated.
Powering the Horizon FD77 Skyline are twin 1136hp CAT C18A 18.1-litre six-cylinder turbo-diesel engines.
Other members of the Horizon FD series include the FD85, FD87 Skyline, FD 102 Skyline and the FD 125 Skyline.
The 2019 Miami International Boat Show, held each year in South Florida in the US, runs from February 14.
