Honda is celebrating the 2011 boat show season by offering both a low interest rate and "Honda dollars" to buyers of Honda-powered boat/motor/trailer packages for the next four months.
The offer begins on June 9, when the Melbourne Boat Show opens, and finishes on September 4 when the Darwin Boat Show winds-up. It applies to any current model Honda outboards from the compact BF40 through to the range-topping BF225.
Customers who buy a BF40, BF50 or BF/BFP60 will receive $400 Honda dollars to spend on anything within the dealership at the time of purchase. The dollars can be spent on accessories, merchandise or servicing.
Buyers of a Honda BF75 or BF90 will receive $500 Honda dollars, those buying a BF135 or BF150 will receive $600 Honda dollars and those who choose a Honda BF175, BF200 or BF225 will have $700 Honda dollars to spend.
For those buying their first boat or updating their existing craft, Honda is offering an interest rate of just 8.95 per cent on Honda-powered boat, engine and trailer packages. The offer is available only to retail customers and Honda power units bought outside the promotion period will not be eligible for the offer. Potential buyers can obtain full details of the offer, along with the terms and conditions, from Honda dealerships across the country.
Honda is also sponsoring the Over The Top Expedition during the boat show season. The expedition will see an attempt to take an outboard-powered, rigid-hull inflatable boat across the top of Australia to Perth. The trip is to raise funds and awareness about prostate cancer.
