Honda sale celebrates 50 years

To celebrate 50 years of Honda Marine, the company is giving away up to $2500 Honda Dollars with the purchase of selected Honda outboards during June as part of Honda's Biggest Anniversary Sale.

Honda Dollars can be taken directly off the purchase price of the outboard or boat package, or any other Honda product in-store at the time of purchase.

Honda has never offered savings like this, and Honda Marine national manager, Chris New, sees it as the perfect head-start for Australian boaters as they move into Boat Show season.

"These offers are sure to strike a chord with Australia's fishing and boating communities," Mr New said. "And unlike other sales that focus on one or two products in particular, this campaign will see huge giveaways on a variety of models throughout the impressive Honda line up."

Retail customers who purchase throughout June a BF2.3 will receive $250; a BF10 will receive $800; a BF20 will receive $1000, a BF60 will receive $1250; a BF115, BF135 or BF150 will receive $2000; and customers who purchase a BF175, BF200, BF225 or BF250 will receive a whopping $2500*.

Customers who purchase a run-out BF75 or BF90 will also receive $1300.

Asked how this promotion differs from the recent May promotion of Honda outboards, Honda spokesman Dylan Stewart said: "The difference between the May and June campaigns is that three new models will be added to the campaign in June.

"These are the BF2.3, BF10 and BF20. The addition of these three portable/mid-range engines opens the campaign up to a whole other market; namely those in search for a quality low-horsepower engine to power their tender or tinnie. The $1000 Honda dollars offered with the BF20, for example, represents 20 per cent of the model's RRP, so the decision to promote this campaign as separate from the May campaign is important not only for Honda, but for potential Honda customers."
