New fishing ‘yak with boatload of featuresHobie says its new lightweight, more compact Pro Angler 12 is the most versatile fishing boat (kayak) they’ve ever designed.
Available in June/July, the new 12-foot kayak boasts a 240kg carrying capacity and is packed full of must-have fishing features, making it one of the most fishable of all its kayaks.
Suitable for lakes, rivers and the open ocean, the Pro Angler 12 is so stable you can stand and fish with confidence. Up to six rods (four horizontally, two vertically) can be stowed in the kayak, while great access to all your tackle remains.
The Pro Angler 12 has integrated dual left- or right-handed steering controls. A new Vantage seat provides greater comfort and adjustability.
The lightweight, easily removable seat has patented lumbar support technology. And as it’s raised, you won’t get a wet bum.
Hobie says its Lowrance-ready installation system makes adding a fishfinder a breeze.
Powered by a pedal-type patented MirageDrive with Turbo Fins, the Pro Angler 12 has got the giddy-up to go places and discover new fishing hot spots.
Pitched as an affordable, durable, lightweight, ultra-stable kayak, built especially for ‘yak fishers, the Pro Angler 12 should be available in time for the Sydney International Boat Show in August.
