“We’re very pleased with such a strong response and we’re now confirming space allocations,” Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show manager Harry Davis said.
The 2006 event drew record exhibitor numbers, while sales topped $A143 million. In one of the largest on-water displays seen at an Australian boat show, there were 365 craft on the water and a further 457 boats and water craft in pavilion and hard stand exhibits.
World launches already confirmed for Sanctuary Cove in 2007 include: Cheoy Lee Yachts Australia’s Daydream 75 built specifically for Australian waters; Durahub new bearing protector, which is invented and manufactured in Australia and internationally patented; New Zealand company Salthouse Marine’s release of a new model Salthouse 57; and Pegiva’s new 31ft twin-engine model.
