John Haines Snr, the driving force behind one Australia's most popular fibreglass boats, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his Signature brand sportsboats with a limited edition of just five each of his favourite boats.
There will be eight special limited-edition models released -- the 580BR, 600BR, 535BR, 600C, 675F, 602F, 580F and 543F -- with the award-winning 580 bow rider SE the first to hit the water.
Long considered to be an almost perfect water sports toy, the limited edition 580BR SE is available with a black, two-tone hull with sliver pin striping and carbon fibre upholstery accents, dash, carpet and trimmings.
Like all the 580RB range the boats will be fitted with a stainless steel ski pole and a rear swim platform, ladder and transom door to allow easy access to and from the water.
The removable picnic table can be positioned in either the cockpit or the bow area.
The hull is from the seventh generation of the Signature Variable Deadrise mould and is claimed to deliver outstanding performance and handling as well as a smooth and dry ride for passengers.
John Haines Snr told the Boatsales network that when he built his first fibreglass boat 50 years ago, he made a conscious decision to make it the high quality, strong product Australian families expected for safe, comfortable boating.
"Today, under the future-thinking, professional guidance of my sons Greg and John Jnr, we continue the tradition of building Australia's most awarded, premium trailer boat collection," Haines says.
"If you love fishing, sporting around or cruising about, this series of boats will really impress you."
Each of the five models in the anniversary series will carry a decal numbering which one of the five the boat is. They will all be signed by John Haines.
The anniversary editions also will feature new, high-back sports seats and an Alpine IPOD marine sound system.
Boat and trailer packages featuring Suzuki V6 4-stroke outboards (up to 200hp) and Dunbier trailers with matching black alloy wheels are available.
