Greenline Yachts has launch the Greenline 42, a model which the manufacturer says fills a key void in its range with versatile cockpit options, a refined and airier interior layout, and a completely new hull designed to deliver high performance and handling confidence.
Positioned between the popular 39 and 40, and the 45, the Greenline 42’s design language draws inspiration from the flagship Greenline 58.
Designed by Marco Casali (Too Design) and engineered by Micad, the Greenline 42 features contemporary European styling and a “seamless indoor to outdoor flow that enhances social connection and ease of movement onboard”.
A galley with sliding side windows opens the saloon to the surroundings, while contemporary furniture lines and cabinetry options enhance levels of customisation. There’s also a spacious bow lounge and a twin-cabin layout.

The Greenline 42 is available with traditional diesel propulsion or Greenline’s sixth generation hybrid system.
The yacht includes up to 4.3kW of solar power as standard, allowing constant 230V power onboard and reducing reliance on generators. When the hybrid system is selected, owners can enjoy the ability to cruise silently at low speeds in electric mode, switching to diesel for longer passages, higher performance and recharging the LiFePo batteries.

The Greenline 42 has a top speed of 25 knots (46.3km/h) from its twin 250hp diesel engines, and an electric cruising speed of 6.5 knots (12km/h).
"The Greenline 42’s new hull performance, the styling choices, and the flexible cockpit layouts really demonstrate Greenline’s design progression,” said Peter Hrones, Managing Director of Eyachts, the Australian importer for Greenline Yachts.
“Australians are becoming increasingly conscious of sustainable luxury, and Greenline continues to lead the hybrid movement. We’re proud to bring this new model to our region and to continue driving the future of responsible yachting in Australia and New Zealand.”
