The innovative Seaway Group have launched an iPad app for the Greenline 33 and 40 which wirelessly monitors all the main systems.
The 'Green box' connects to all the main systems of the Greenline (33 and 40) with a number of sensors which send data to an iPad wirelessly. For example, a simulation travel computer shows an estimated range of consumption or charge. Warnings and manuals help the user to operate the systems on board safely and quickly.
The application will be available on the App Store for free and will be upgraded continuously.
Greenline is the brainchild of J&J Design, the Slovenian based company, launched in 1983 as J&J Design, a yacht design office by the two brothers, Jernej and Japec Jakopin, and the company is now entering a new era of innovation.
J&J design is where it all started with a long list of successful designs built by a wide range of yards and brands.
The brand was launched with the Greenline 33 Hybrid only two years ago and since January 2010 well over 200 units have been delivered, to make this small motoryacht the world's best selling boat of 10m or more and probably the most awarded boat of all times with 17 international Boat of the Year, Design and Environmental award titles won to date.
Greenline’s energy-saving Superdisplacment® hull coupled to hybrid and solar technology and now the iPad App results in a unique combination of efficiency and technology.
More models and innovations will be released in the coming months starting with an important announcement and release at Boot Dusseldorf in late January.
