Greenline hits the ton

The Greenline 33 Hybrid has a short but eventful history

In just 10 months, 100 Greenline hybrid boats have been built and sold to all parts of the globe making it arguably the best selling boat of this size worldwide.

Drastically expanding on the markets in Europe, in the past three months, the Greenline also entered the Asia Pacific region and North America.

Six Boat of the Year awards, three Environmental awards, two Gold Awards for Innovation and the latest Nautical Design Award (Italy) have been bestowed on the Greenline in recognition of the concept which is starting to change the face of powerboating.

The multi-award-winning Greenline Hybrid 33 is a production-built, single-cabin boat with a patented “superdisplacement” hull, powered by a combination of diesel engine and solar-electric generation.

North South Yachting, Australian importers, are distributing the Greenline Hybrid across their national dealership network. The first boat sold in Australia is due to leave Pittwater in February 2011 for Hobart, Tasmania.

The Greenline 33 is available from $237,333.
