Greenline Yachts will reveal the Greenline 45 Fly, the Slovenian marque’s smallest flybridge version early next year, featuring the option of either silent electric running or outright performance.
Teased in images showing a sharp, sport-honed exterior, and filled with appointments you’d find in any luxury apartment on land, the 45 Fly will have what the boat maker claims is a full beam flybridge superstructure, “making it the largest in its class, at the same time protecting the ‘sidewalks’ and covering the cockpit from rain and sun”.

The Greenline 45 Fly’s outside lines were shaped by design studio J&J Design, while the interior was crafted by superyacht designer Marco Casali.
Similar to the rest of the environmentally aware motor yacht range, the 45 Fly will come with the option of a “H-Drive” hybrid system that uses electric power alone at speeds of up to six knots for near-silent cruising, but kicks over to shaft-drive diesel engines that will clip along at about 25 knots.
If the idea of hybrid hurts you, the Greenline 45 Fly will come with the option of 500hp or 600hp IPS drive systems capable of hitting more than 30 knots.
In-built solar panels ahead of the flybridge ensure a constant trickle of electricity into the yacht, with Greenline claiming the 45 Fly is so power-efficient that it will “rarely ever need shore power cables”.
The flybridge, meanwhile, features a lounge and sunbathing areas, a two-seat helm and a “fully equipped” wet bar. If you don’t want the open flybridge, an option available to owners is to add a T-top that also triples the number of solar panels feeding electricity into the batteries.

Behind the transom, a hydraulic swim deck has cockpit access to either side, as well as a water toy storage locker, barbecue, sink and bench space.
A galley connects the deck and the saloon – a Greenline signature – with a U-shaped lounge facing the starboard helm.
Greenline claims the biggest feature of the 45 Fly is a midship master cabin with a king-size island bed. A guest cabin fitted with a queen-size island bed fills the bow. Each have their own head, shower and walk-in wardrobe. If more berths are needed, the guest walk-in robe converts into a bunk room.
Greenline has announced the 45 Fly will have its world debut at the Dusseldorf boat show in January. Pricing is yet to be announced.
