Green trailer washing system

Ecologically friendly kit to de-salt trailers

Dunbier Marine Products has been appointed an official distributor for the innovative Eco Trailerwash System that uses a fine mist of water to clean wheel hubs, brakes and axles.

Sold in a kit, the Eco Trailerwash uses a network of poly tubes and nozzles which attach to the trailer frame and which can be connected to a water supply via a standard hose fitting.

The nozzles can be placed and directed to spray specific areas that are likely to suffer from salt water corrosion.

Said to be much more effective than rinsing a trailer with a hose, the Eco Trailerwash sprays a fine mist of water simultaneously around the entire trailer. The nozzles also wash the bottom of the boat hull.

Tests have shown the system uses up to 80 per cent less water than using a standard hose. The kit, which includes 25m of polo tubing, is available for trailers up to 8 metres long. It costs $99.

See the Eco Trailerwash website for more details.
