The Norwegian-built Goldfish 36 luxury RIB was launched at the Southampton Boat Show in the UK this year, and has recently seen a sharp rise in interest.
As the global financial crisis begins to loosen its grip on, buyers are returning to the market and this has resulted in increased interest in Europe for the Goldfish 36.
Currently being entered for the next Round Britain Powerboat Race in June 2011, the new Goldfish 36 leisure RIB is being ordered as a tender for luxury yachts and a standalone powerboat.
Built and designed by Goldfish Boat AS in Norway, the 36 powerboat has hydraulically dampened seating for six people and features a stepped decompressing hull. It also gets a compact cabin built into the main control pod with a pair of 'occasional' berths and storage space for belongings.
The boat's design gives it a distinct look and power levels are copious thanks to a pair of Dmax Yanmar diesel engines, which generate 315hp in standard form but have been boosted to a very healthy 380hp for this application.
The Norwegian company says the Goldfish 36 is good for a speed of about 80 knots in most conditions.
