Delegates attending the marine15 International Conference and Trade Exhibition, May 3-5 at RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, will see first-hand the quality, scope and scale of the Gold Coast marine industry, marine facilities and waterways.
Several Gold Coast manufacturers will be displaying their latest products at marine15, including Superior Jetties with a world-launch of their Waterscape furniture and the Quintrex brand with two new models on display. Joining them will be 55 other exhibitors in the marineX@marine15 exhibition. Tours of the Gold Coast Broadwater and Coomera marine manufacturing precinct are also on offer to delegates.
BIAA General Manager Nik Parker said: "marine15 is very pleased to be able to showcase the Gold Coast and is equally pleased that the Council of the City of Gold Coast will join marine15 in promotion of the local marine industry."
Mayor Tom Tate said the City was pleased to be supporting the marine15 conference and exhibition.
"The marine industry is a significant element of our local economy. One of the aims of our Economic Development Strategy is to boost jobs through diversification and the marine industry is certainly helping to do this.
"Along with our amazing waterways, the Gold Coast is home to Australia’s leading boat builders, some of the top marine equipment manufacturers and expansive marina and marine leisure facilities, so we are proud to support this event."
