Visitors to the biggest-ever Gold Coast International Marine Expo from May 19-22 will be able to put a huge range of boats through their paces with almost 50 berths so far booked for instant sea trials, organisers say.
The on-water tests of late-model boats and engines will involve world-leading international and Australian brands including Yamaha, Quintrex, Evinrude, Vortex, Streaker, Bluefin, Baysport, Evolution, Revival, Misty Harbour Pontoon Boats, Caravelle, Extreme, Suzuki, Stejcraft, Mercury and more.
"Expo 2016 will be an incredible experience for real boating enthusiasts regardless of whether they’re looking for their next boat or their first boat," said Event & Marketing Manager Emma Brown.
"The Expo sea trial berths met with immediate success when we introduced them last year and this year we are taking the on-water experience to a whole new level.
"With trials across a diverse range of boats of all shapes and sizes, this is a great opportunity for our visitors to try before they buy."
Dubbed the boat show with so much more, Expo will be staged in the heart of Australia’s boating industry capital, the Gold Coast Marine Precinct, from May 19-22, 2016.
The annual event will showcase over 500 yachts and boats on the water and on land, as more than 230 exhibitors man diverse marine displays, with everything from large luxurious motor and sailing yachts to lightweight tenders and boats designed for sports, fishing and family fun on show.
The latest engines, accessories and equipment including jet skis, kayaks and fishing gear, and plenty of fun family and live entertainment are a big part of three 3km Expo display circuit.
"The Expo is the best place to buy a boat or boating equipment with hundreds of exhibitors in the one place keen for your business," said Mrs Brown.
As an added enticement, you can win a Quintrex ultimate boating package worth more than $40,000 — everything you need to get out on the water and make memories —simply by purchasing your tickets to the biggest Expo ever online at the Gold Coast International Marine Expo website.
