GOLD COAST MARINE EXPO: Multihull Solutions
Multihull specialists showing long-range Summerland 40 powercat and 41-foot Lipari sailing option from Fountaine PajotMultihull Solutions is expecting strong interest in its power and sail range at this weekend’s Gold Coast International Marine Expo from October 17-19. After all, Queensland is a cat state and local boaters with tickets on heading north, gadding about the skinny coastal waterways that dot the coastline, and tropical island hopping, see the good sense in a low-draft, low-drag, efficient cruising power or sail cat with level living decks.
The multihull specialists will bases right around Australia will be displaying the new Summerland 40 Long Range (pictured) by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts, as well as the Fountaine Pajot Lipari 41 Evolution to satisfy both power and sail enthusiasts.
The importer is also anticipating big crowds at its local Gold Coast Sales Centre adjoining Expo in Coomera, where an extensive range of quality pre-owned multihulls will be on display at an Out-Of-Water Boat Show on the 'dry.'

But the Summerland 40 LR and the Lipari 41 Evolution from Fountaine Pajot are expected to be highlights, as these two multihulls have become among the most popular models in the French multihull manufacturer's history.
The Summerland 40 LR recently won a Boat of the Year title against a strong field of finalists in the ‘Liveable Boats’ category at the prestigious 2014 Moteur Boat Awards, impressing judges with its exceptional interior space, outstanding stability, and performance in choppy judging conditions. The cat was praised for its remarkable accommodation, particularly its three designer double cabins and its decadent owner’s cabin that boasts a panoramic sea view.
OUT-OF-WATER SHOW
At the nearby Out-of-Water Boat Show, Multihull Solutions will be showcasing pre-owned multihulls including a Lagoon 421, Leopard 39, Sailfish 5000 power catamaran, Voyage 500, Schionning 43, Seawind 1200, Leopard 47 and more.
The Out-of-Water Boat Show is a must-see for all visitors to the Gold Coast Marine Expo, allowing buyers to fully inspect a wide array of multihulls while enjoying the premier facilities at The Boat Works including the café overlooking the vibrant waterways.
