Tickets for the 2014 Gold Coast International Marine Expo (October 17-19) are online now, and with almost all exhibitor space now taken up, this year’s massive showcase of ‘all things aquatic’ is certainly shaping up as the biggest and best yet, according to Event and Marketing Manager Emma Milne.
"The opportunity to pre-purchase tickets online is something we felt people would appreciate, especially as we have introduced a nominal cover charge to assist with growing the Expo and to help raise money for our beneficiary charities," Ms Milne said.
"We’ve also been able to secure a great prize for those who do jump online early and secure their tickets – a Sirocco RIB with a 5hp Honda four-stroke outboard.
Ms Milne said Expo is a massive three kilometre circuit featuring everything from kayaks to super yachts, fishing equipment to jet skis … and everything in between.
"The ticket price of $8 for adults and $5 for seniors is great value, especially when everything you need to get afloat this summer is all in one place," she said, adding that children under the age of 15 years will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
The not-for-profit Expo – at the Gold Coast Marine Precinct in Coomera – will again have free on-site parking. Shuttle busses will ferry people from the parking to the entry points.
