Gold Coast Marine Centre on 23 acres

Occupying a prime waterfront site only 40 minutes from Brisbane, at the entrance to the Gold Coast Marine Precinct, the near-new Gold Coast Marine

Centre (GCMC) said it prides itself on offering local and visiting boat owners an excellent choice in undertaking maintenance and general repairs.

Under general manager, Colin Speairs, and a skilled team of shipyard staff, GCMC said it presents itself as a superb and well-equipped facility.

It has a 70-tonne Boat Lift for vessels up to 70ft with 20ft beams and unique multi-hull hydraulic-lift trailers for houseboats and catamarans.

Other facilities include concreted open hardstand and washdown bays covering more than 10,000m² and all serviced by up to three-phase power, enclosed 22.0m by 12.0m refit bays and a dedicated sandblasting bay, said GCMC.

High-tech painting facilities are provided for antifouling by either roller or airless spray.

GCMC said that with its location on the Coomera River (with ocean access), its marina can accommodate 30 vessels up to 25.0m, with all berths serviced with power and freshwater.

The GCMC is at 200 Beattie Road, Coomera.
