Alongside the well-attended German premiere of it 540e, Hanse Yachts also launched another yacht onto the world market; the 430e.
Viewed from outside, the yacht is said to make a ‘minimalist’ impression while offering a surprising amount of space and comfort below deck.
One highlight of the 430e is the jib furling system, which is completely integrated into the deck and offered as standard equipment. But it’s the improved performance that’s more likely to impress the skipper, says Hanse. Thanks to the considerably lower positioning of the tack, the jib has increased in size and, subsequently, in effectiveness.
The 2.2m standard keel, made from lead and iron, is said to provide a deep ballast centre of gravity, while the double helm positions and the covered halyards, sheets and trim lines directly in front of the helms ensure that the 430e can be perfectly sailed even with a small crew, says Hanse.
