The one day event included a wide range of family entertainment, special giveaways, 20 per cent off in-house chandlery and exclusive in-house offers on boating packages.
GBC sales manager Cameron MacDonald said the Quintrex launch was very successful for the dealership.
"Our official launch of the Quintrex brand was a great success with large numbers of people coming through our doors to see our new range," MacDonald said.
"We had more than twelve Quintrex models on display with the popular 540 Freedom Cruiser, 540 Coast Runner and 480 Freedom Sport generating a lot of interest.
"There were also plenty of entry-level boat buyers enquiring about the Quintrex 420 Dory," he said.
GBC officially joined the Quintrex dealer network on January 1 this year with high hopes for their
dealership and the Quintrex brand.
"For the past 40 years our dealership has been servicing Geelong and its surrounding areas and we are excited to be able to offer our customers Australia's most popular aluminium brand," MacDonald said.
"We are hoping to capture the aluminium market in Geelong and make Quintrex the leading aluminium brand in our region.
"Above all, though, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality service to our customers, starting with our exceptionally trained staff right through to our experienced sales consultants and factory trained mechanics. Our goal is total customer satisfaction."
GBC is one of Victoria's oldest authorised Yamaha dealers and also offers Honda outboard motors.
