Garmin and Suzuki work together

Integration blends engine and navigation

Marine electronics manufacturer Garmin has produced its new Garman GPSMAP 750 series of chart plotters so they can be fully integrated with Suzuki outboards via a NMEA 2000 sensor/instrument connectivity.

The 7-inch touch screen multi-function display gives instant readouts of Suzuki sensors and instruments as well as having an inbuilt GPS that is pre-loaded with charts for both Australia and New Zealand.

The compact unit also has a built-in radar port and 1kW sonar capability on the combo models. Radar can be connected via the Ethernet port. Options such as 3D view mapping are also available.

The integration is available in kit form when you purchase a Suzuki outboard.

Full details are available from Suzuki dealers. You can locate your nearest dealer at www.worldsbest4stroke.com.
