West Australian boat builder Fury Custom Boats has teased an all-new trailerable 6.6-metre cabin model it says will start with a base price of $85,000.
Fury said the hull was “a true, blue water performer which will cut anything thrown at it”.
Few other details are available, although the boat will feature a steep 30-degree deadrise and a 2.42-metre beam, making it long and narrow.

Stability at rest would be improved using a flooded keel system, Fury said.

Fury said the new model would come with live bait tanks while images tease a dive door built into the starboard bulwark, implying it will be a perfect boat for fishers who like to run wide to chase sportfish.
The new model will use PVC foam cores and will use no timber in its construction. It appears to use a stepped transom, with the twin outboard engines mounted on a pod that extends the full width of the transom, with starboard access to the platform.
The model also features good walkaround access to the bow, an anchor integrated into the bowsprit – a Fury signature – and a low wrap-around windscreen. An uncluttered topdeck, emphasised by a pulpit that rakes back as it moves aft, makes for clean lines.
The console has enough dash space to fit a pair of multifunction touchscreens side-by-side.

The boat is shown wearing a soft top with a rocket launcher featuring nine rod holders on its trailing edge.
The new boat will be the smallest hull in Fury’s three-model line-up, and the first that is legally trailerable.
Fury already produces the fishing-focussed 282 Centre Console, the 282 Dual Console all-rounder, and has plans to produce the 282 Dual Console day boat that has a fold-down bulwark that serves as a swimming deck.
All come with a beam larger than 2.5 metres.
