A new cruising catamaran syndication opportunity in the Whitsundays has been unveiled that makes boat ownership more affordable.
Eight shares have been made available in a new Fountaine Pajot Hélia 44 that will be based at Hamilton Island marina -- three of the shares are already sold.
The vessel's specifications have been tailored to suit a small syndicate of discerning owners and will be delivered during 2014 by Multihull Solutions with the date only subject to finalising syndicate membership.
The syndicate, which will be managed by Yacht Share International, will comprise only eight members, each enjoying six cruising weeks available per year on the catamaran. Shareholders also contribute a modest monthly fee to cover all mooring, maintenance, cleaning, insurance and other costs.
A share in the Hélia 44 syndication currently starts from just $118,750 including GST, based on an estimated on-the-water price of $950,000, which is subject to currency fluctuations and to the final specifications and options selected by the syndicate members who have signed up prior to ordering.
The layout offers the three cabins designed as peaceful retreats. This Owner’s version features double beds, private ensuites and large windows affording outstanding views. There will also be single berths fitted in the forepeaks for the kids.
The Syndicate's Hélia 44 will be fitted with Fountaine Pajot's Eco Cruising option, which includes a solar panel array, wind generator, additional house battery, low-current LED electrics and a status monitoring system.
The catamaran also features upgraded Volvo 55HP engines, upgraded fridge and freezer options, a Garmin Navigation pack including GPS, VHF and autopilot, electric mainsail winch and automatic reefing (1st reef), stainless steel BBQ and bait board, 23" LED TV & DVD player in saloon, 240v shore power air-conditioning to saloon, premium fans throughout all cabins, hot water deck shower, 3.4 metre tender with four-stroke outboard, and a premium inventory of linen, towels, galley equipment and accessories.
