Formula On The Move
Victorian boat manufacturer Formula Powerboats has opened a new production facility in Melbourne's northern suburbsWhile its head office remains in Bulleen, Formula’s expanding range of products will be built in Thomastown.
Company director Adrian Clancy said all new boats would be built and fitted up at Thomastown by the end of 2007. Formula’s range currently consists of models from 16 to 23ft.
“We’re setting the site up with the latest technology to build the best possible product we can,” Clancy said.
Any prospective Formula buyer will be able to view the site from a specially designed viewing area and monitor the progress of their boat during the manufacturing process, should they decide to purchase.
