Flight of the Condor

SBA said the Condor won the 2007 boat innovation award at Stockholm's prestigious Scandinavian Boat Show.

The Scandinavian boatbuilder said its new Silver Condor 730 is the answer to every boating enthusiast's need for speed, and being rated for eight adults, this impressive boat will do more than 50kts even in large swells, said the company.

It is the perfect speedboat for all water activities whether at sea or on large lakes and as with all Alufibre boats the ride characteristics are like no other, said SBA.

The Condor 730 is designed as a walkaround and by folding in the outer part of the windscreen there is easy excess to the elevated front deck which can be used as a large and comfortable sun lounge. The manufacturer said that under the deck there is almost 4m² of storage to keep all possessions dry and out of the way.

The controls of this open boat are centrally positioned to give superb all-round visibility, said SBA, while the layout has a carlike feel.

As with all its boats, Silver said the double hull is foam filled making the ride exceptionally soft, quiet and dry, has level flotation and is unsinkable. No compromises have been made in the effort of making this boat as safe as possible, said SBA.

The Condor will be powered with a 300hp Verado engine and feature SmartCraft controls, said the Australian agent.

SBA said standard equipment includes teak laminate floor, hydraulic steering, stereo, onboard computer, four fully padded bucket seats, sun mattresses, and more.

The boatbuilder said the Silver Condor demands attention, from the sleek sporty design, fantastic driving position, style to comfort and there is no other aluminium open boat like this in Australia or in fact the world.
