The sale of the first Grady White 360 Express into Australia has been confirmed. The biggest Grady White hull in the fleet and the flagship of the Express range is expected to arrive on the Gold Coast in May.
The maxi outboard-powered Express has been designed for serious game and sport fishing applications. All the key tournament features are built into a big cockpit, within an especially stable, spacious hull featuring Carolina flare in the top sides and a fine entry for signature Grady White seaworthiness.
A tower or half tower would be a welcome addition, but that can be added locally by expert fabricators to an even higher standard than American towers.
Either way, the 360 Express is true to name, a twin- or triple-outboard rig running 300-350hp engines for top speeds in excess of 53mph (45+ knots).
But while the 360 Express is a sportfisher first and foremost, the stylish boat also features a comfortable and open saloon, cabin and galley, plus plenty of accommodation space. Air-conditioning and a roomy shower and toilet compartment ensure that the 360 Express is equally at home on extended fishing trips and tournaments or day outings with the family.
True to the Grady White name, the 360 Express offers a safe and comfortable ride in all conditions. The 360 Express heading to the Gold Coast will be rigged with twin 350 V8 Yamaha outboards for a factory stated top speed of 44.2mph (38.4 knots) and a cruise of 27mph (23.5 knots) at the economical setting of 4000rpm.
The Grady-White 360 Express is priced from $599,000 with twin 300hp Yamaha outboards.
