Fishing Tackle: New Fin-Nor Lethal Lever Drag Series

High-speed overheads with single- and dual-speed gearing

Fin-Nor has added to its Lethal overhead reel range with the release of lever drag models in single and two-speed configurations, both available in sizes 16, 20 and 30.

All sizes are built with a solid all-aluminium one-piece frame and side covers and the versatile designs are suited to trolling, jigging, bottom fishing and even pitching live baits.

The Lethal Lever Drag’s internal construction is engineered to be tough and durable — as we’ve come to expect from Fin-Nor — with large bronze and stainless steel gears, for dependable cranking power and long-term durability.

The gearing is versatile to suit a range of fishing styles, with 6.1:1 in the single-speed and a 6.2:1/3.0:1 split for the two-speed models.

The drag system features Fin-Nor’s legendary oversize MegaDrag heavy-duty carbon fibre washers, for dependable lock-down power when fighting heavy fish.

The spool support design delivers excellent free-spool capability and all six double-shielded bearings contribute to the reel’s overall smooth feel. The strength throughout the build continues in the MegaLock anti-reverse system, which has a pawl and ratchet back-up.

Lethal Lever Drag LTL16 holds 450yd of 50lb (410m of 24kg); the LTL20 fits 540yd of 65lb (490m of 30kg); and the big LTL30 takes 675yd of 65lb (620m of 30kg) braid — so you’re covered for when the big fish bolt for the horizon.
