First-ever Horizon sportyacht!

Innovative new Horizon E56XO sportyacht created especially for Australian market at Sanctuary Cove boat show

With increasing demand for a sports-style motoryacht in its fleet, Horizon Australia has worked closely with the Horizon Group in Taiwan to create a very special new boat tailor-made for the Australian market.

The new sportyacht has been been more than a year in development and is based on  the Horizon E56, which has taken the world by storm since its release in 2013.

There are now more than 20 Horizon E56s built and delivered to clients all over the world, with five of the boats already cruising Australian waterways. The E56 is an ideal proven performer on which to base the new E56XO sportyacht.

The flybridge of the popular E56 model has been removed to create a sleek and stylish, spacious and luxurious new model, with a fresh interior design and alfresco entertaining areas.

The XO is powered by economical Twin C12 ACERT 705hp diesel engines and the hull has been reinforced for future sea keeper gyro installation.

A comprehensive Raymarine navigation package has been fitted to the vessel as well the wireless remote Yacht Controller making the sporty vessel easy to berth and manoeuvre regardless of your boating experience.

SLEEKER LOOK, MORE KIT
Horizon Motor Yachts Australia says the XO has been meticulously designed from the water line up, with a reduced the gunnel height to create a new sleeker look.

The new roof line with a targa top supports the radar and satellite domes; there is a new fishing and BBQ cockpit module; high-low platform with room for a tender or jet ski; front bow table and seating incorporating a sun bed; and numerous other design features.

The galley has been moved to the aft, with a hopper window and sliding door that opens up the boat completely to the aft deck entertaining area, which include a BBQ, sink, 30kg per day icemaker, live fish/ bait tank, fishing rod lockers and storage, large cold chest, as well as a large dining area.

The port side galley and breakfast bar leaves room for an abundance of storage space. The galley includes Corian bench tops, floors, a full height upright fridge and freezer, quality Smeg convection oven and cook top that would keep the most concerning chef content. There is even room for a Fisher and Paykel dishwasher so you can spend more time entertaining and less time cleaning up.

A large Hi/Lo 50in TV is matched with a Bose entertainment unit so you can watch your favourite movie in cinema quality. The 50in TV can be seen from the galley or the large U-shaped couch/dining area, which features a Hi/Lo table that transforms the area from a dining area into a double bed for the extra guests you may have on board.

A comfortable helm for two is forward starboard with a Raymarine package putting large colour displays for all your navigation, autopilot, fish finder, chain counter and gauges within arm’s reach. The model also includes two cameras in the engine room and one at the rear deck for extra safety.

ACCOMMODATION PLAN
The forward VIP cabin design and head has been replicated from the E56, but the starboard bunk cabin has now been redesigned to fit two single beds side by side instead of cross over bunks.

The master stateroom has undergone a makeover with the head now moved to the starboard side of the entrance and a large robe on the port side as you enter the stateroom.

The large king size bed is centred in the full beam stateroom with a large daybed on the starboard side... the perfect place to curl up with a book, or watch the world float by through the large windows which allow an abundance of light into the room.

The port side offers large cupboard space for all your personal belongs and even more storage has been designed under the stairwell.

COCKPIT GARAGE, BOW DINING TABLE
Heading back outside to the cockpit, a 22in TV has been fitted outside so you can watch the sport and entertain. There is direct access down the teak stairwell to the hydraulic swim platform and the perfect size lock-up boot for wet toys, fishing/ diving gear or even crab pots.

Moving forward, a very clever sunbed and dining table on the bow is a stand-out feature, with recessed speakers so you can enjoy a drink with friends whilst listening to your favourite music.

Horizon believes this front seating and table area will be a real asset and start a trend among competing boatbuilders.

Horizon have teamed up with Ultra Anchors and we have specified a 45kg Ultra anchor to hold the vessel in place in the most undesirable conditions for absolute piece of mind.

AUSTRALIAN DEBUT
It has been said that the Horizon Group is a great listener, that its considerable human resources and designers listen to their dealers and customers, taking in suggestions as they evolve.

Feedback from local Horizon motoryacht owners has certainly been the driver behind the new XO, a functional yet economical motoryacht perfect for today's keen cruising and entertaining crowd.

The XO will be making her worldwide debut at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May. For a presentation on the new vessel, contact Erica at Horizon Motor Yachts on (07) 5577 9009 or email erica@hmya.com.au. For more information see Horizon Motor Yachts Australia.
