All new from hull to helm, the first Australian built 2018 Axis T22 rolled off the production line earlier this month. The Axis range, which in Australia includes the T22 and the pickle-fork A20, are hand built by Malibu Australia at the Albury-based factory.
The all-new 2018 Axis T22 features a deeper hull and streamlined profile to deliver crossover versatility for wakesurfing, wakeboarding or skiing.
A new Sliding Skybox Seat provides a front row view of the action behind the boat and, with seating for up to 15 people, the walkthrough maximises space.
The 2018 Axis T22 is said to be loaded with plush upholstery and includes a swivelling helm armchair, illuminating multifunction gauges, dual dash panels with soft key buttons and Livorsi electronic throttle.
Price Taylor, the Managing Director for Axis Wake Research and Malibu Boats Australia, said the new design, with increased standard enhancements, more comfort and greater performance, makes the 2018 Axis T22 even more suited to watersports-loving families.
"And with the option to add Power Wedge II to the Axis, it's easier than ever to tailor the wake and wave for every rider-from beginner to pro-so everyone can have a great day on the water," adds Taylor.
Designed, engineered and handcrafted by Malibu, Axis Wake Research delivers technology and quality with an extraordinary performance-value equation.
The T22 is the newest version of its traditional bow model, blending classic design with cutting-edge performance and superior watersports capability.
Priced from $81,950, the Axis T22 provides Malibu technology and quality, at exceptional value. More at Malibu Boats.
