Ferretti Yachts has said it's getting ready for the big European boat shows in 2016, scheduling two successive important new-boat launches, while building on the dynamic mood and feeling of vitality that is flourishing at its Italian yard.
In local waters, Ferretti will be represented at the 2016 Sydney International Boat Show with a Ferretti 881 Hardtop — the largest vessel at the show to our knowledge at 90ft —on the Ray White Marine marina display. Brock Rodwell from Ray White sad the impressive boat had a $11.8m price tag.
NEW FERRETTI 850
In northern Italy, the very first Ferretti Yachts 850 was recently launched in Cattolica, Rimini. The new flybridge is 85.4 feet long (26 metres) and is said to be the latest interpretation of the largest yachts in the Ferretti fleet, which have evolved in a range now consisting of 10 models from 45 to 96 feet.
Ferretti Yachts says its new luxurious 850 offers the owner the unique experiences of life in a magnificent maxi loft surrounded by the sea.
The Italian luxury-yacht builder adds that the 850 is the latest "extraordinary masterpiece in the history of a brand that goes back almost 50 years and has won the approval of the main international markets."
Ferretti says that three of the new yachts have already been sold, two in Europe and one in the Americas, is proof of the yacht's unmitigated success.
The Ferretti Yachts 850 is being built at the Cattolica shipyard and is the result of the joint efforts by Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, Studio Zuccon International Project — for the design of the exteriors and the layout of the interiors — and the Group’s Engineering Department, which includes naval architects and the interior designers.
The official presentation for the new 850 is scheduled for the beginning of September during Ferretti Group’s Private Preview in Monte Carlo, before becoming one of the main attractions at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 6-11 and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show at the beginning of November.
FERRETTI 450
Meantime, just a few days earlier, the marina at Cesenatico provided the backdrop for another event: the launching of the first Ferretti Yachts 450, a new luxury yacht taking the brand back into the strategic 40-50 feet segment.
This smart yacht is said to stand out for its geometrical hull lines, its generous volumes, and its elegant yet practical interiors designed to create a family feeling. The new 450 is also a nice sibling for its big brother Ferretti Yachts 550.
Built at the new "centre of excellence" in Forlì, and officially unveiled at the beginning of 2016, the 450 will also be presented during the Private Preview in Monte Carlo at the start of September, ahead of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
