Bavaria Yachts says uniting with Farr Yacht Design and BMW Group Designworks USA in the Bavaria 55 project has resulted in a craft made for balanced and assured cruising.
Teaming German engineering with cutting-edge manufacturing technology leads to great production efficiencies but also the highest quality of construction, says Bavaria Yachts.
Of course, Farr Yacht Design is acknowledged as one of the top yacht design teams in the world, with an unquestioned history and race pedigree, while BMW Group Designworks USA remains an internationally acclaimed firm and stand out in design strategy and development.
The Bavaria 55 will feature a versatile interior with a choice of three, four or five cabins. The yacht's exterior is styled with modern aesthetics but not at the price of functional quality.
Key features include a dinghy garage that is large enough for a 3.0m ducky with outboard; convertible cabin configurations; twin rudders for performance and safety; cockpit seating and boarding gangway; 5.0m unobstructed foredeck with flugh deck hatches affording ample space for sunbathing and relaxation; large sail storage locker up front; sport and comfort rig options, and various sail plans.
Bavaria Yachts said the new 55 represents the company's ambition to dominate production yachting through unique collaborations with the best designers in the business.
