Fairline gathers Asia-Pacific dealers

WA dealer receives Gold Award for sales

Luxury British motor yacht manufacturer, Fairline Boats, gathered 11 dealers from the company’s fast-growing Asia-Pacific network for their annual Regional Business Conference in Singapore on April 27-29.

In addition to a full day conference, one of the weekend highlights was the annual Fairline Awards Dinner. Held at Amara Sanctuary Resort, Sentosa, the awards gave recognition to the region’s best dealers for outstanding sales matched with exemplary customer service.

Sales were topped by Greater China closely followed by Western Australia, New Zealand, India, Thailand and Singapore with the list of winners for 2011 Model Year period as follows:

• Platinum Award for Sales: Fairline China; Fairline Hong Kong
• Gold Award for Sales: Fairline Western Australia; Fairline New Zealand
• Silver Award for Sales: Fairline India; Fairline Thailand; Fairline Singapore

The meeting, which coincided with the Singapore Yacht Show 2012, was hosted by Sales and Marketing Director of the UK based boatbuilder Fairline, Mr James Robinson, and Mr Bryan Jones, President of Fairline Boats Asia.

In attendance were representative Fairline dealers from China, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Western Australia and Victoria, in what was the biggest attendance since the conference was launched.

Mr Bryan Jones said: "We are delighted to see year-on-year growth in this important part of the world. As well as core sales, marketing, customer support and product discussions, the conference is an open platform for debate and dialogue enabling us to learn and implement better ways of working throughout the Fairline network."

Asia-Pacific has become a significant market for the company with record sales since 2008, a strong order book and ongoing delivery of new models.

"All of our markets are growing quickly, underlined by 30 per cent annual turnover now originating from Australasia alone," he concluded.
