Da Vinci Yachts is one of the leading shipyards for classic motoryachts in Holland and is well known for its innovative Dutch craftsmanship, durability and classic lines.
These lovely cruisers will soon be seen on Aussie waterways as eyachts, part of the Windcraft Group, has been chosen as the Australian distributor for the brand.
The New Da Vinci 30 is a new sporty cruiser with classic lines designed for relaxing days and weekends on the water. Styled with Dutch flare and a touch of Venetian romance, the overall look and feel is retro-modern chic.
Finish quality is high and includes hand-crafted joinery and luxurious fabrics. The large, open cockpit has level, self-draining floors. It includes a U-shaped sofa which creates a spacious seating area.
The contemporary and organised dashboard has a curved glass windscreen and the steering position offers seating for two.
Fitted with Yanmar diesels, the Da Vinci 30 cruises at up to 40 knots. A bow thruster is optional. The importer says that the smart design of this boat means even at high speeds, guests stay dry.
The spacious interior is equipped with cooking facilities, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a U-shaped sofa which can be transformed into a large double bed. A fixed bed is also an option.
Dan Jones of eyachts recently inspected the Da Vinci range and commented: "These sporty cruisers are fantastic fun and beautifully built. The ride was superb and
we all stayed dry even at high speeds.
"With the large bimini they are perfect for the Australian market. I can just picture them cruising up the canals of the Gold Coast for example. We expect to see the first Da Vinci 30 arrive in Australia in early 2015."
