eyachts offers Vanquish in Australia

Dutch-made aluminium 'works of art' from a 'go-kart on water' to 27m mini superyacht

Luxury European-boat importer eyachts has added Dutch-made Vanquish Yachts to its growing portfolio of prestige powerboats available in Australia and New Zealand.

Fast, agile, fully customisable and designed to stand out, each Vanquish is a hand-built work of art, fashioned from sustainable, low-maintenance aluminium, so buyers can enjoy cost-effective ownership and high resale value.

The Vanquish story is equally enduring. Tom Steentjes, a welder by trade who began his career making industrial kitchen equipment, started the boat brand in 2012 to shake up the establishment and create boats that offer the allure, design and ultimate thrill of a premium sports car on the water.

There are currently seven Vanquish Yachts in the range, with two more in development. They start with the VQ16 (5.07m), described as a "go-kart on water," and end with the VQ90, a 27 metre 'superyacht' that is said to offer buyers superior style, luxury and sophistication.

The hull, underwater shape and design contours are apparently the same for all models, but the length and layout can be changed to suit. Each boat is fully customisable and future owners can design the boat they want.

In fact, customers are actually encouraged to "think outside the box." The addition of a vintage dashboard, a glass bottom, or a revolving dance floor are all possible.

All Vanquish boats also share a high-performance engine, comfortable facilities, and the capacity to travel at high speed. The innovative hull design means the boats slice through the water with fast acceleration, but also offer lower fuel consumption and a longer range for exploring further afield.

All the operations are environmentally friendly and all the aluminium can be recycled. Currently, only 10-12 boats are hand-built each year and Steentjes is still personally involved in the high-tech boat-building processes.

"The beauty of Vanquish is that buyers can build the boat they want and customise it to suit their lifestyle," said Peter Hrones, MD of eyachts.

"These boats are built to the highest quality and are perfect for buyers that love fast cars and the thrill of a premium sports car  — think Porsche or Aston Martin but on water!" More at eyachts.com.au/vanquish-yachts/.
