'Extreme Performance' Brake Pads
Titan Trailer Brakes, Brisbane, has released ‘extreme performance' ceramic brake pads for boat trailers. The pads are integrally moulded into the backing plate for maximum shear strength and the friction compound of carbon ceramic has superior performanceAdvantages and features, claims the company, include stainless steel retainer clips, a lower ‘dust release’, a 50 to 100 per cent longer life, ceramic friction lining, and slotted, chamfered and double-coated polyurethane on the backing plate for maximum corrosion protection.
“We need to continually offer higher standards of braking safety and efficiency for marine boat trailers in order to maintain the safest and best braking available,” Titan’s Ron Heindorff said.
The brake pads are available from marine dealers.
