Early showing of Maritimo motoryachts

Sydney dealer SBM Maritimo opens the saloon doors to six special boats this Sunday
Sydney Maritimo dealer SBM Maritimo at The Spit is staging a special private boat show this Sunday July 27 to reveal the six special new Maritimos destined for the 47th Sydney International Boat Show opening the following Thursday July 31.
The unveiling the weekend before the Sydney International Boat Show allows would-be buyers the opportunity for an intimate look over the six models in the tranquil surroundings of Middle Harbour.
“It’s an informal, relaxing pre-boat show viewing of the latest toys to be released from the Maritimo stable,” explains Steve Batton, the dealer principal at his namesake dealership.
“The display will be open from 10am to 5pm, with a few nice drinks and nibbles on offer around lunch time,” Batton adds, saying you will get to the see the new class of Maritimo boats at your leisure without the crowds.
The pre-show line-up includes:
1) New Mustang M32
2) New Maritimo S43 diesel shaft drive
3) New Maritimo M50
4) New Maritimo S50 (due the same day of the pre-show)
5) New Maritimo M58 with C18 Cats and loaded (sold)
6) New Maritimo M58 with Volvos and stunning new Wenge timber interior (due the same day of this pre-show unveiling)
Meantime, Bill Barry Cotter has said that Maritimo is sold out of most of the new models well into next year. We understand there is the "odd" production slot available, but  SBM says it’s not for long.
“It is so nice to see the recognition from the boating community loving what Maritimo are offering, and the living proof of this fact is the solid order book. Bill will not be increasing capacity, just maintaining the status quo of building quality Motor Yachts for the discerning buyer,” Batton says.
Some of the key features of the Maritimo Motor Yachts include:
<< Walk-around decks for hassle free access to all areas of the boat in any conditions.
<< Massive cockpits with revolutionary BBQ rear pod modules for entertaining.
<< Stylish and gentle incline internal staircase for ease of access to the flybridge.
<< Stylish rear galley with large sliding saloon doors for ease of access to cockpit entertaining areas.
<< One level entertaining between saloon and cockpit.
<< Huge cockpit lazarette to store all the import items like large fenders, deck chairs, fishing gear and all the of the kids floating toys.
<< Large rear overhang of flybridge balcony, providing essential cockpit protection from the sun and rain when dining outdoors.
<< The flybridges on all Maritimo Motoryachts are designed with entertaining in mind, rather than being purely a driving station.
<< With the addition of an up/down swim platform, there is no need to fit massive and often unattractive tenders to the front of the vessel.
<< Very efficient hulls that enable all of our Motor Yachts to have huge cruising ranges
<<Maritimo continue to use traditional drive train set ups for reliability, efficiency and manoeuvrability (and around the dock using thrusters)
<< Mighty full-beam master cabins on models above and including 50 feet.
