Discover Boating Week with free boating and sailing experiences this weekend in NSW and SAWould-be-of-they-could-be boaters and keen crew can experience recreational boating activities for free this weekend in NSW and SA thanks to the Boating Industry Assoication's 'Discover Boating Week'.
Activity subject areas include: Discover Sailing, Understanding Boat Storage, Try a Trailer Boat, Understanding Boat Hire and Discover Paddling

In Sydney, the impressive new Sydney Boathouse is taking centre stage and open this Saturday October 24. Whether you are new to boating or an existing enthusiast, there will be lots to do at the venue including:
>> Tour of the Sydney Boathouse facility and information about storage services.
>> Boat launch and retrieval demonstrations with a huge marine forklift truck.
>> View a range of new boats for sale from Chapman Marine including SeaRay, Wellcraft and Beneteau and Premier Marine including Chris Craft and Regal.
>> Hear some great tips from the Sydney Boathouse team on safe boating as well as resident engineers, National Marine Services on boat operations. These will be held at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
>> Find out how to get your boat licence from the Australian Boating College.
>> Kids can enjoy the free jumping castle and you can grab some lunch, a cold drink and sit by the water.
Discover Sailing Day on Sunday October 25 gives you the option to go out for a short sail with an experienced sailor, have a look around the club facilities, and find out about the programs and sailing courses available. There is something for the whole family and even kids as young as five years old can sail, when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The best part? All the activities are free to attend, boats and safety equipment are provided by the host club.
