Demo days for Cat lovers

Webbe Marine entices would-be boaties

Catamar hulls are regarded by many fishermen as the perfect answer for speed and stabilty, so Sydney 'cat' specialist Webbe Marine is staging two demonstration days to show just what the attraction is.

The first demo day, Saturday, November 7, will feature three Webster's Twinfisher models -- the 4.3, 4.9 and the 5.2 metre runabouts.

The second day, Saturday, November 21, will feature the PowerCat 26 and 30 models.

In order to give potential customers enough time to evaluate the boats, Webbe Marine is insisting that people ring and pre-book a demonstration time. They are not revealing the exact location of the demos, other than to say they will be in the Botany Bay area, to prevent people from just turning up on the day.

The Webster's Twinfisher boats are gaining a strong following around the country because of their ability to give great performance from a single outboard rather than the twin set-up needed on most catamarans.

The PowerCat models are aimed at the offshore boating market and they offer high levels of comfort from their wide beam and wave handling ability.

Interested boaties should call Ashley Faraj or Gavan Daly on (02) 9521 7944 to book a demo time.
