Marina group d’Albora has officially opened its new haul-out facility at Mosman on Sydney Harbour, making life easier for owners using the group's three Sydney-based marinas.
The new Middle Harbour premises was built as a full-service haul-out facility and service centre, providing a convenient place for owners with motor yachts up to 21 metres (70 feet) in length and up to 50 tonnes in weight to perform any level of maintenance on their vessels.
It also means d’Albora now has five full-service boatyard facilities located along Australia’s eastern seaboard that include everything in marine services from shipwrights to antifouling and even electrical and mechanical engineering, with a dedicated project management team onsite.

d’Albora asset manager Murry Offord said the group could now provide its three Sydney Harbour marinas and their customers with complete end-to-end berthing, servicing and maintenance solutions in-house.

“Customer servicing is the very core of our business focus, [and] this new boatyard location allows us to offer and provide all elements of our customers’ needs on and off the water in one of our largest markets, Sydney Harbour,” Offord said.
d’Albora customers who use the group’s marina services, which include dry-stacking, can visit and use facilities at any one of d’Albora’s three Melbourne-based, five Sydney-based, one Brisbane-based and one Whitsundays-based facility.
The group has its own app, which includes links to services and facilities, and also offers group benefits to users once they step ashore and thoughts turn to non-boating activities such as drinks and dining.

The d’Albora facility at The Spit includes 193 wet berths for boats of up to 40 metres in length, as well as 60 swing moorings in Quakers Hat Bay and Pearl Bay.
The site also has discounted all-hours fuel for members.
As well as the 50-tonne travel lift, the site also has a 2.0-tonne jib crane servicing the six hardstands. The site also has water, compressed air and power.
The new full-service boatyard complements the marina facility, as well as offering its services to d’Albora’s other Sydney Harbour-based marinas at Cabarita Point and Rushcutters Bay.
