d’Albora Marinas, Australia’s largest premium marina and hospitality network, has expanded its national footprint with the acquisition of Tin Can Bay Marina in South-East Queensland.
Located in the heart of the Great Sandy Strait, Tin Can Bay Marina is a well-established boating destination offering 172 wet berths, a full-service boatyard, fuel facilities and waterfront accommodation.
Renowned for its access to K’gari (Fraser Island), sheltered cruising grounds, and strong local boating community, the marina will now officially join the d’Albora network.

The acquisition marks another milestone in d’Albora’s strategy to expand its portfolio of premium marinas in key Australian boating locations, combining operational excellence with destination-led experiences for both our marina customers and visitors.
“We are delighted to welcome Tin Can Bay Marina into the d’Albora family,” said Julien Pouteau, Managing Director of d’Albora. “Tin Can Bay is a highly regarded marina with a loyal customer base in an exceptional setting. Its addition to our network and this acquisition reflects our continued confidence in the long-term strength of Australian marine industry and our commitment to investing in outstanding marina destinations.”

d’Albora will work closely with marina customers, staff and the local community to ensure a smooth transition, while preserving the character and strengths that make Tin Can Bay Marina a valued regional asset. Over time, customers can expect access to d’Albora’s broader marina network, member benefits, consistent service standards, and potential future upgrades.
Tin Can Bay Marina customers will continue to enjoy the same location, facilities and on-site services.
d’Albora’s expansion in South-East Queensland also includes continued investment in its existing Queensland assets. This includes d’Albora Pacific Point Marina & Boatyard located just north of the Gold Coast.
