Anyone who is a member of d’Albora’s Australian network of marinas can now book selected services, find a casual berth and even book a meal using an app on their smartphone.
The app, which covers 10 marinas spread across the Australian coastline from the Whitsundays in Queensland to Pier 35 in Melbourne, even includes a function that will allow members that have their boats stored at any of the four d’Albora dry stacks to select a launch time so they can step out of their car and get out on the water without losing any time.
d’Albora customer experience general manager Julien Pouteau said the new app was developed to help the “highly active and engaged boating and lifestyle enthusiasts” that used the group’s services.
“...It was only a natural progression to open up our growing marina network and services to them in a more digital personalised manner as our members travel further across our extensive east coast network or take advantage of our full-service marine and lifestyle offerings,” Pouteau said.
“The app provides intuitive functionality and comprehensive information that helps take the hassle out of d’Albora members’ boating experiences whilst providing a great customer experience and a high level of service.”
The d’Albora app will also give members access to fuel prices, help when refuelling or berthing, quotes for boatyard services, restaurants, events and offers, and new and used boat sales.
Members who prefer a more personal touch can still contact the members and guests services team by phone or email.
Over the past few years, d’Albora has grown the number of sites it owns and manages to include popular locations including the Port of Airlie in the Whitsundays, Horizon Shores on the Gold Coast, and Marina Martha Cove on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
It is also the exclusive Australian representative for Azimut Yachts, Bertram Yachts USA and Monterey Boats.
The d’Albora “Freedom is Yours” app is available from the Apple App Store for iPhones or Google Play for Android devices.
