New Fountaine Pajot power catamaran claims 1000nm rangeImporters Multihull Solutions say that the Cumberland 47 Long Range from Fountaine Pajot is a genuine new luxury motor catamaran.
The catamaran's wide beam associated with a new interior design offers a very comfortable lounge and a large, high-tech galley. Comfortable accommodation for up to eight is available in four cabins, or you can opt for three double cabins with ensuites plus crew cabins in the bow.
All cabins in the hulls benefit from a large portlight, providing natural light and a view of your anchorage out yonder.
The helmsman has a double seat, while an armchair is provided nearby for the guests.
The Cumberland 47's elongated hull and its larger tanks give her a great range, with particularly good soundproofing, we're told. Power is supplied by a pair of 220hp diesels giving a top speed of around 30 knots.
The Cumberland 47 will be presented afloat at La Rochelle in March 2013.
